Yardsticks are great additions to your play area if you’re interested in helping kids engage in play that allows them to brush up against early numeracy and STEM learning. They’ll also spark lots of conversation as kids fiddle and fuss with them during block play, ramp play, tinkering projects, dramatic play, and more self-guided play and exploration.
Will they be used as lightsabers? Maybe. But if you don’t want that to happen, you can always make sure other loose parts that are more appropriate for lightsaber play are available.
