About On-Site Child Care
On-site child care is child care located at a location convenient to children’s parents. This includes child care located at a parent’s work place or school, as well as other convenient locations, like the gym. The child care facility may be located in the same building or in a separate structure on the same campus. Such programs may be owned and operated by the host organization, or they may be operated by an outside group.
On-site child care may be regulated child care or unregulated child care. It may also be drop-in child care, part-time child care, or full-time child care.
