I salvaged these sweet plastic lamp shades from a lamp that’d been dead in our basement for years. First my daughter loved it, and then it was too ugly for her room. I imagine them being used in water, sand, and other sensory play. They’d also made effective megaphones–I tested one out by tooting rude noises at the dogs. They’ll also be used in dramatic play, block play, and for craft projects. But I’m most excited about the moment I see a child using one in a way I could never imagine.
