Wasn’t there a similar method used in “The Sun’s Not Broken”? I remember having been inspired by it over the years and trying similar stuff hoping to help children feel more in charge of their eating and grow a better relationship with food. I remember Sydney discouraging wasting and making a statement of, “only take what you’ll eat”, etc.
