Basters–they’re not just for turkeys. They can’t be beat when it comes to sucking up and squirting water, paint, and other liquids. They’re basically giant eye droppers. That makes them much more manageable for younger kids with less small muscle control and strength. That doesn’t mean they don’t take some time to figure out–look at the concentration tongue in the first picture. That little dude’s brain, nervous system, and muscles are working hard to get the water where he wants it.
These things are great for supporting interest in Transporting or Scattering schema play, STEM play, water play, sensory play, and more.
