Whether you favor old school metal or modern plastic or soft-sided versions, wagons are loose parts kids love for pushing, pulling, riding, filling, dumping, and more. They are ideal items for supporting play scenarios full of heavy work. Wagons encourage motion and exercise bodies. In addition to physical activity, they also tend to serve as centers of social activity–as you can see in the photos below.
