I had one like the red one below. I don’t remember a time in my childhood before it existed, so it must have showed up when I was quite small. No matter how much I grew, there was always something I wanted that was just out of reach. Then I finally outgrew it, and it was passed down to someone younger. By that time, I suppose I’d moved on to ladders for things I needed to reach.
Select stable and durable versions, and these things will provide years of play and exploration.
