Your play space needs scoops. There is not enough time in the day to scoop all the scoopables some preschoolers would like to scoop. They’d scoop from breakfast to bedtime if given the chance.
And why not give those kids the chance? Scooping builds small muscle and large muscle strength and control, it offers a chance to learn about the physical property of all kinds of materials, it hones visual tracking and hand-eye coordination, and more.
There are lots of scoop options out in the world, but here at Playvolution HQ we favor the metal ones. They’re super durable and stand up to years of delicate and hard-core scooping.
(I made it all the way to the end of this post without mentioning how much I loved those two scoops of raisins in my favorite childhood cereal.)
