Power Play

Power play is a type of play in which children play at being powerful (“I’m The Mom”) or place their real power on display (“Watch me lift that big rock”). It involves controlling people and events, displaying physical strength or agility, acting forcefully, overcoming challenges, or exhibiting skills and abilities. This type of play includes exhibits of both social and physical power.
