Plastic Food Containers

Plastic food containers are readily available and make great loose parts in early learning settings. Kids can stack them, nest them, fill them, dump them, roll them, sort them, and more. They’re great loose parts for supporting many play schemas. In most cases, they also add a bit of environmental print to the play space. Other upsides to repurposing these items include keeping them out of landfills, their ready availability, and their cost.
