Frozen or not, plastic reusable ice cubes are an interesting variable to add to your play environment. They can be used as manipulatives for sorting and hauling and dumping and organizing. They can be frozen and used for STEM play and exploration. They can be plopped into the dramatic play area and used as olives, gold coins, and baby dragon medicine.
