Plastic buttons will spark all kinds of novel play: They’ll be used for sorting, lacing, craft projects, dramatic play, and more. They can also, of course, be used for buttoning. Or maybe Sven is keen to learn to sew, so set him up with some thread, scissors, a needle and a handful of these colorful loose parts and let him stitch away.
