Cow bones may make some people squeamish, while to others they’re totally fascinating. Over the years, we’ve visited a handful of early learning settings that had them available as loose parts for both indoor and outdoor play. The kids seemed to enjoy them a lot, so we adopted the idea in our own family child care program.
