Hubcaps

Back in the 70s, we’d find free-range hubcaps along the street–apparently sent flying when their vehicle struck a curb. We’d spin them, roll them, play catch with them, throw them at each other, bang them together, haul them around, collect them, and try to hammer and bend them into suits of armor.

Modern kids will likely do the same if given the chance. You probably don’t run across a lot of free-range caps like we did back in the day, and if you do, they’re probably plastic. These are loose parts you’ll have to hunt down and treasure once you capture them, like precious circular unicorns.
