Overview
Use this annual Tornado Drill log to record monthly drills in your early learning setting.
Using The Tornado Drill Log
Start by filling in the year for which you’ll be recording drills. Then, each month after your drill, enter:
- The date of the drill
- When the drill took place
- How many children and adults were present
- How long it took to take cover
- The name of the person supervising the drill
- Any comments on how the drill went
We recommend keeping this log, and logs for any other monthly drill logs, together on a clipboard, so they are easy to access when it is drill time, or you need to show the records to a licensing authority.
