Adults often have infants strapped in car seats, backpacks, high chairs, and other restrainers. While there are times to use these devices, infants should be able to move their bodies freely as often as possible. Adults also prop infants up with pillows before they are able to sit up themselves. Instead, adults need to let children develop these abilities themselves.
