
Who Is Carol Dweck?
Carol Dweck (1946-) is an American professor of psychology at Stanford University. Her work focuses on how a person’s motivation and self-conception impacts his or her achievement (Dweck, 2017).
Dweck is known for her research on growth mindset, “the idea that we can grow our brain’s capacity to learn and to solve problems” (Dweck, 2014).
