What Is Bias?

Bias is an inclination or prejudice in favor or against a person, group, idea, or practice that impacts a person’s judgement. These preferences and inclinations can have an impact on how caregivers interact and care for children and interact with their parents. It can also impact how they interact with each other.

You’ll find glossary entries on different types of bias here. Awareness of them in yourself and others is helpful.
