Quote

When your baby’s gross motor development is allowed to unfold naturally, he will acquire skills that go beyond finding balance, sitting up, and walking. As he discovers how to find balance in each new position, he’ll learn to pay attention and to focus; he’ll learn to problem-solve and to rely on himself to do so. When allowed to move in the way that is natural to him, without being coaxed or prodded to do more than he is capable of, he’ll come to know that he’s accepted just the way he is and that there’s no pressure for him to move or to perform in a way that he’s not yet ready for.
