Rain or shine, outside play promotes physical activity and all the developmental benefits that accompany it.
Playing in semi-harsh weather conditions gets kids out of their comfort zones and helps build resilience.
Such play helps develop what we’ll call Weather Sense—the understanding that weather conditions change from day to day and that accommodations must be made based on those conditions.
