
What Is After-School Child Care?
After-School Child Care is formal or informal child care for school-age children occurring after the school day ends. It may be a formal school-based program, a program offered by a child care program, or a less formal arrangement in which a child goes home with a friend or is cared for by a neighbor or relative.
