Children with poor proprioceptive sense are generally more susceptible to fractures, falls, dislocations, and injuries. They tend to be clumsy and have been known to walk in a robot-like fashion. They often have to look at their body parts in order to move them correctly. They may have a hard time regulating how much force to use when walking, hugging, jumping, and so on.
