Verbal aggression is when a person threatens or taunts another. I think it is important to address verbal aggression in a way that increases the dialogue rather than shuts it down. Just telling a child to stop talking that way does not allow them to learn from the experience, nor does it allow them to express any issues or concerns they have with the other child in a less hurtful way.
