Risk taking is essential for Development. Risk taking in early childhood is just as important as learning to hold a pencil or learn the alphabet. Risk is an important and essential part of development in all domains. It builds resilience, the vestibular sense, proprioception, core strength (needed for holding this pencils), fine motor strength (also needed for pencil holding), self concept, cause and effect, trial and error and SO MUCH MORE.
