Part of trusting children to lead their own learning means leaving them to their processes and accepting that those may be a whole lot different from yours–which can be hard to do, because children’s processes may not be as organized as you would like, sometimes take a lot more time than you expect, may be messier than you prefer, and are likely to go off in a new and unexpected direction.
